CHELLO ANGEL FLORENCE 1998
Part of Andre Plessel’s conceptual Nude with Instrumentalists series, Cello Angel was captured in Florence in 1998. True to Plessel’s artistic vision, the photograph is a carefully composed scene—more symphony than snapshot.
A nude model poses with a cello, her body subtly veiled by a composition of musical notes and soft shadows. The effect is ethereal and enigmatic, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that feels intimate yet untouchable.
The image is mysterious, sensual, and poetic. The cello, resting against her body, mirrors her curves. It becomes more than an instrument—it becomes part of her form, part of the story.
Every element is intentional. In Cello Angel, Plessel explores the harmony between music and the human body, between exposure and concealment, presence and suggestion. It’s not simply a nude—it’s a quiet study of elegance, femininity, and emotion.
