VOYEUR 1982 IBIZA
One of Andre Plessel’s earliest works, Ibiza '82 captures the essence of a time and place—sun-soaked, effortless, and quietly iconic. Taken in the summer of 1982, this analog photograph shows a model lounging by a pool, entirely at ease, surrounded by the bold lines and shadows that define the scene.
What makes this image timeless is not just the subject, but Plessel’s eye for composition. Long before digital tools, he instinctively framed graphic design in real life: the geometry of the pool, the play of light, and most strikingly—the model’s body casting a beautifully shaped silhouette across the ground. Her shadow becomes a natural graphic element, transforming her presence into something sculptural. It’s not just about the woman, but the way light turns her into art.
It’s more than a fashion shot—it’s a study in atmosphere, balance, and emerging style. Even then, you can see the early signs of Plessel’s signature: elegant, minimal, and quietly powerful.
